- Famous Fishing Overseas
Not to be confused with the Hampshire Bourne, or the Bourne Rivulet, the Bourne is the fourth tributary of the Avon around Salisbury. Managed for wildlife rather than for the convenience of flyfishers, it is shallow and clear, with some large but tricky wild brown trout. It is not for the novice, but could be combined with the Ebble for those looking for a day’s truly wild fishing.
